Monodoro keeps only what it needs to time your focus and keep it in sync. This page explains what that is.
Who we are

The short version
- We store your account, your focus data and your settings so the app works and stays in sync.
- Motion sensor readings stay on your phone. Only a summary of each session is saved.
- No ads. We don’t sell your data. No third-party trackers.
- You can export or delete your data from inside the app.
What we store

Motion sensors and Focus endurance
When Focus endurance is on, Monodoro reads your phone’s motion sensors during a session to estimate how long the phone stays still. These readings are processed on your phone. They are not stored or sent to us.
Only a summary of each session is saved, such as the still stretches, the longest stretch and the number of likely pickups. You can turn Focus endurance off at any time.
How we use it
- To run the app: timing sessions and showing your plans, insights and milestones.
- To sync your data between devices and keep it safe if you change phones.
- To reply when you contact support.
We don’t use your data for advertising and we don’t build profiles about you.
Where it is stored
Your data is stored on your device and on our own server so it can sync. Our server is located in [REGION TBD]. Data is encrypted in transit.
Who we share it with
We don’t sell or rent your data, and we don’t share it with advertisers or data brokers. The app contains no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
Apple or Google confirm your identity when you sign in; their own privacy policies cover that step. We may disclose data if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, we delete your data from our server within 30 days. Backups are overwritten within [BACKUP DAYS TBD] days. See Delete your account.
Your choices
- See and edit: your profile, projects, tasks and sessions are visible and editable in the app.
- Export: download your sessions as a CSV file from Plans (Export CSV).
- Delete: delete your account in the app or by email. How it works.
- Ask us: email [email protected] to access, correct or delete your data, or to ask about your rights where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA).
Children
Monodoro is not directed at children under [AGE TBD, e.g. 13]. If you think a child has given us data, email us and we will delete it.
This website
monodoro.app uses no cookies and no analytics or tracking scripts. It is hosted on Cloudflare Pages, which processes basic request data such as IP addresses to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when you visit. [Remove the Google Fonts sentence if you self-host the fonts.]
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app.
